Co Op Financial Services Announces Promotion Of Griffin Paxson And Trudgeon

CO-OP FINANCIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF GRIFFIN, PAXSON AND TRUDGEON

"These three officers have made important management contributions to CO-OP and to the entire credit union industry," said Stan Hollen, President/CEO of CO-OP. "Their promotions underscore their growing value to our organization - based on years of service - and to our client credit unions as we continue to expand our products and services." 

Promoted to Chief Information Officer, Griffin will be responsible for CO-OP's enterprise-wide information technology teams, providing support for strategic initiatives and financial services products, managing business technology risks/return, and developing and maintaining key company business objectives for technology utilization. Before joining CO-OP in 2012, Griffin was the Chief Information Officer for Atlanta Postal Credit Union and prior to that he served 24 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Cyberspace Warfare Officer.  

As Chief Marketing Officer, Paxson is the architect of the go-to-market strategy for the organization encompassing all brands, products, services and lines of business. She leads consumer behavior analysis planning for the organization, interpreting how it impacts technology, financial services and new product category decisions for CO-OP.  Paxson joined CO-OP in 2005 and developed the THINK initiative, an innovation content platform for the credit union movement. Her background includes working overseas for an international public relations firm as well managing the CO-OP account when she was a supervisor with a Southern California marketing agency.  

With her promotion, Trudgeon is responsible for CO-OP's Network Implementation and Network Operations, which are being combined to increase synergies between the two departments. She manages an array of areas, including card support, compliance and training. Trudgeon also chairs the company's Operations Advisory Committee, made up of client credit unions. Before joining CO-OP in 1998, Trudgeon was Vice President of Operations from 1978-1998 for Redlands Federal Bank and prior to that she was employed by Bank of America.
