Danford to Focus on Maximizing Seamless Partnerships between CO-OP and Client Credit Unions

- RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California – Experienced credit union executive Amber Danford has joined CO-OP Financial Services as Vice President, Client Services, bringing additional executive-level engagement to ensure seamless partnerships between CO-OP and its credit union clients, and promote increased customer satisfaction for members.  

“A world class client experience for our credit unions is at the very top of CO-OP’s commitment to the industry,” said Nick Calcanes, Chief Operating Officer, CO-OP Financial Services. “To help us maintain and extend the trust and loyalty of our clients – on which our partnerships depend – we have hired a passionate client advocate. In addition to her 16 years of experience working for credit unions, Amber has spent the past two years as a member of our client advisory Co-Creation Council on Payments.”

In Danford’s new role, she will be responsible for helping clients ensure their CO-OP services perform at the highest level, and take full advantage of all features and functionality; speedy resolution of service questions, and prompt onboarding of new clients or new CO-OP services acquired by existing clients.

Prior to joining CO-OP, Danford spent almost four years with Stanford FCU of Palo Alto, California, as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, she spent one year with California Credit Union of Glendale, California, as Chief Marketing Officer; 10 years with Texas Trust Credit Union of Dallas, Texas, as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development; and two years with Denton Area Teachers Credit Union, also of Dallas, as Director of Communications.
