Digital Revolution Measuring Cause Impact Themes For Three New Think 16 Speakers

DIGITAL REVOLUTION, MEASURING CAUSE IMPACT THEMES FOR THREE NEW THINK 16 SPEAKERS

3/31/2016

"Credit unions promise to be 'People Helping People,' and more than ever that means being purpose-driven, innovative and having the technology modern consumers demand," said Stan Hollen, President/CEO, CO-OP. "We will not only inspire you to upgrade to 'People Helping People 2.0,' we'll demonstrate it's the best way to stay viable in the financial services world today."

Gary Vaynerchuk is returning to the THINK conference in 2016, following his talk at THINK 14, to challenge attendees to build their credit unions - as he has built several businesses - through a comprehensive digital technology strategy encompassing all aspects of member service.

Leila Janah and Perry Yeatman will directly address the business case and return on investment for operating as a mission-driven institution and industry.

The speakers and their backgrounds include:

Leila Janah, Founder and CEO of Samasource, a non-profit social business that gives digital work to impoverished people around the world. The business case for doing so is as clear as it is unrealized. As she says, "the greatest natural resource in the world that has been overlooked is the brainpower at the bottom of the pyramid."

Gary Vaynerchuk, Co-founder of VaynerMedia, a social media-focused digital agency. Vaynerchuk stresses the need to put the Internet, social media and mobile technology in the service of a passionate commitment to goals. The titles of his books tell the story: "Crush It! Why Now is the Time to Cash in on your Passion" and "Jab, Jab, Jab, Right-Hook."

Perry Yeatman, External Director of Mission Measurement. Yeatman is a world leader in "measuring social outcomes": gathering the hard business data to measure the return on investment of purpose-driven corporate initiatives, and help them operate cost-effectively.

The THINK conference specializes in attracting thought leaders from outside the industry who share their unique perspectives on issues confronting credit unions. THINK 16 will put particular emphasis on speaker and audience interaction - and audience collaboration with each other.

THINK 16 is being held at the historic Hotel Del Coronado, in the San Diego, California area, May 3-6, 2016. Registration is $799 for credit union employees, who can register immediately at http://co-opthink.org

THINK's year-round platform includes regional events throughout the year, social media outreach and a website that focuses on credit union management best practices and innovations. The website provides a blog, library and store, in addition to event information.

More information, including the complete agenda and speaker line-up for THINK 16, is available at the THINK website: http://co-opthink.org
