Lois Hansen Joins Co Op Financial Services As Vice President Product Development

LOIS HANSEN JOINS CO-OP FINANCIAL SERVICES AS VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., October 1, 2013 - Lois Hansen has joined CO-OP Financial Services as Vice President, Product Development, responsible for a product development and management team that supports all of the company's Locations, Card Payments and Mobile/Virtual business lines.

"Product development at CO-OP is increasing in complexity, as we move to ensure our credit union clients have the products and services they need to maximize member convenience, and compete successfully against banks," said Caroline Willard, Executive Vice President, Markets and Strategy, to whom Hansen reports. "Lois Hansen is the right person to lead this effort based on her more than 30 years of experience in steering teams developing electronic payments products."  

For the last 15 years, Hansen has headed her own consulting company, serving such clients as Perot Systems, Fiserv, FIS and MasterCard. Work for these and other clients involved financial product analysis, e-commerce and strategy consulting, with program, project and process management. Prior to forming her consultancy, Hansen spent 11 years (1987 to 1998) with FIS/eFunds/Deluxe, where she last held the position of Vice President, Process Innovation.

Hansen holds an MBA/Finance from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

CO-OP's products fall into three business lines, including "Locations," (ATM, shared branching and call center services); "Card Payments" (debit and credit processing) and "Mobile/Virtual" (mobile, online, check imaging, bill pay services).
