"CO-OP Shared Branching has been fortunate to have Carroll's experience and knowledge as part of our team," said Bill Raker, CO-OP Shared Branching Board Chairman. "He has played a pivotal role in leading the corporation to success with his steadfast devotion, progressive perspective and enthusiastic commitment to the betterment of the financial health of credit union members."

"Carroll's leadership has undoubtedly left lasting contributions to shared branching, to CO-OP and to the movement," said Stan Hollen, President/CEO, CO-OP Financial Services. "Carroll was instrumental in the combination between CO-OP and CUSC in 2007, allowing credit unions to offer unprecedented access and convenience to their members. His vision has enabled credit unions to plug into one technologically advanced, streamlined hub, making a variety of payment channels easily available to members now and in the future."

Throughout his career, Beach has served on a variety of boards, such as with CUNA, Credit Union House LLC, U.S. Central CU, Credit Union Service Corporation and the Association of American Credit Union Leagues (AACUL).  He has also been a member of various committees, including with AACUL, from which he received the Eagle Award, which is the highest award given by the organization to one of its members.

Beach is also a recipient of the Herb Wegner Lifetime Achievement Award, the most recognized award given in the credit union industry.

"I have been privileged to witness both shared branching and the movement as a whole expand and grow into a system that stays true to the credit union philosophy," said Beach. "The technological innovations that have evolved over time have changed the way people take care of their financial business. I am proud to have been part of an industry where organizations work together to help members succeed financially."
