Brooke Van Vleet
Brooke Van Vleet is the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for First Tech Credit Union, where she has responsibility for corporate planning, legislative affairs, marketing, business development, human resources, training and sales. After previously working at First Tech from 1990-1997, she returned to First Tech in November 2003 as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, and assumed her current role in August 2006. Prior to returning to First Tech, Brooke spent two years as VP/CIO at Portland Teachers Credit Union and consulted with several credit unions on marketing and technology strategies.
She is a founding member and past chairman of the CUNA Technology Council and a past recipient of CUNA Diamond awards and CUES Golden Mirror awards recognizing excellence in marketing. Currently, Van Vleet serves on the board of Member Gateways, LLC, a credit union service organization, the Credit Union Association of Oregon’s Governmental Affairs Committee, and was appointed to CUNA’s recently formed Political and Grassroots Network. She also volunteers her time as a member of the board of the Portland chapter of the March of Dimes.
Van Vleet has a B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. from Portland State University. She resides in Southeast Portland with her husband and two daughters.
