Samantha Smyth
With nearly one decade of integrated marketing experience, including eight years in conjunction with the credit union industry, Samantha Smyth was hired in November 2005 as CO-OP Network’s Vice President, Marketing. Her assignment: Oversee the strategic marketing for all products and lines of business, including EFT, shared branching and risk management. Smyth, who previously worked overseas for an international public relations firm as well as serving in the media relations office of Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Hernandez, gained her credit union experience during an eight-year stint with a Torrance, Calif. marketing agency. Smyth directed the firm’s CO-OP Network account, focusing on trade and consumer advertising, brand building, public relations and national media buying, as well as working on travel and tourism, automotive and consumer goods accounts.
Smyth, a graduate from USC with a degree in Journalism and History, resides in Manhattan Beach, California where she is a part-time aerobics and kickboxing instructor.
