San Diego County, Addison Avenue, South Carolina FCU and Honda Renew in Third Quarter
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (November 2, 2009) – CO-OP Financial Services is continuing a strong second half of 2009 for its payments products and services as the company has received 21 CO-OP Network Full-Processing contract renewals from its credit union clients since July 1.
Among the credit unions renewing with CO-OP Financial Services are San Diego County Credit Union, San Diego, Calif., the 13th largest credit union in the country by total assets; Addison Avenue FCU, Palo Alto, Calif., the 41st largest, South Carolina FCU, North Charleston, S.C., the 89th largest.; and Honda FCU of Torrance, Calif., with more than $500 million in total assets.
Most clients renewing their CO-OP Network Full-Processing contracts were also customers of CO-OP Signature Debit Card Processing, and chose to renew this service as well.
Last month CO-OP Financial Services announced that it had received 101 new contracts for all product lines during the third quarter of 2009, equaling the number it had received during the first six months of the year.
“In addition to the overall value of CO-OP Network Full-Processing, our strong 2009 retention rate can be attributed to the doubling of our National Relationship Manager team, a group of 22 strategic counselors dedicated to the success of our clients,” said Caroline Lane, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, CO-OP Financial Services. “There is no doubt that in this economy contract renewals are coming under added scrutiny, a process we understand as a credit union-owned cooperative. The consultative approach we have taken in the past year has really helped us address client needs.”
In addition to access to the CO-OP Network of 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, CO-OP Network Full-Processing provides credit union clients with electronic funds transfer (EFT) processing for all ATM transactions.
